Those of us born in the 1950’s and 1960’s did not have to go far to find work. Jobs were plentiful when we grew up and working for yourself was the way to go. Our generation is the generation of the self-employed. While our children and the younger generation prepare for college, degrees and mass education most of us started working well before high school and have worked hard our entire lives. I started working at a restaurant in high school washing dishes, then cooking, then I was introduced to a saw and hammer. I soon realized that I was more than able of running my own business.
